Manage subscriptions in Queye Mail

Queye Mail Updated 2026-07-06

Subscriptions is an optional feature in Queye Mail that shows every newsletter, shop, and platform that emails you regularly, all in one place. From there you can leave any of them with a single click, instead of hunting for the unsubscribe link at the bottom of each message.

Turning Subscriptions on

Subscriptions is switched off by default. To use it, open Subscriptions in the Queye Mail sidebar and select Turn on Subscriptions. Nothing is scanned until you do this, and you can switch it off again at any time with the Turn off button at the top of the list.

How the list is built

When you open the Subscriptions view, Queye Mail looks at the headers of the messages received in your inbox over the last 30 days. Senders that include standard unsubscribe information in their emails are grouped together into a list. Only message headers are read; the contents of your emails are not scanned, and the list is built fresh each time you visit rather than being stored.

Because the view covers the last 30 days, a sender that emails you less often, such as a quarterly newsletter, will only appear after its next email arrives.

What each entry shows

  • The sender's name, email address, and website icon.
  • How often they email you, such as Daily, 2× a week, Weekly, or 2× a month, based on the last 30 days.
  • How many of their messages are currently in your inbox and when the most recent one arrived.

You can sort the list by Most recent, Most frequent, or A-Z using the menu at the top, and refresh it at any time with Rescan.

How one-click unsubscribe works

When you select Unsubscribe, Queye Mail uses the unsubscribe method the sender provides, in this order:

  • Instant unsubscribe: if the sender supports one-click unsubscribe, Queye Mail completes the request for you straight away.
  • Unsubscribe email: otherwise, Queye Mail sends a short unsubscribe request to the sender from your address.
  • Sender's page: if the sender only offers an unsubscribe web page, it opens in a new tab so you can finish there.

Senders are required to honour these requests, but it can take a few days for the emails to stop. Unsubscribing does not delete the messages already in your inbox.

Good to know

  • Unsubscribe requests always use the details found in the sender's own emails in your mailbox.
  • The frequency shown reflects the messages currently in your inbox, so deleting a sender's emails lowers their count.
  • Turning Subscriptions off stops all scanning immediately; your emails and existing subscriptions are unaffected.
